an island holiday awaits...
There are 700 islands and cays in the Bahamas each with their own character but always with the same Bahamian welcome. Islands range from uninhabited paradises to those packed with luxury resorts. With things to do both on land and at sea this is a favourite for fishing, snorkeling and diving as well as relaxing on countless stunning beaches.

- flight details
Depending on the island you are visiting depends on the accessibility - getting to Nassau (Bahamas capital) is a direct flight of 9-10 hours from the UK and from there you can travel via domestic flights or ferry to the various other islands and cays. Grand Bahama, Abaco and Exuma also have direct flights from US.
- island weather
With it's proximity to Florida the climate is similar with a dry cooler season around November to March with the hotter, wetter season between July and October. With the tropical climate however you're never too far away from the sun making an appearance through the clouds and often one part of an island can be experiencing a thunderstorm whilst the other could be shrouded in sunshine.
- famous for...
The postcard of paradise famous for it's countless beaches, crystal clear water, island hopping, water activities (especially scuba diving and snorkeling) and of course the swimming pigs.
- Remoteness - Depends on the island. Nassau (the capital) is the busiest but an island like eleuthera or the exumas you will have more space to yourself.
