When an island has been voted 'best Caribbean island' within the last decade you know it's one not to miss out on. Boasting tropcial green backdrop alongside beautiful beaches with the most famous being the aptly named 'Pink Sand Beach'. As with most of the smaller islands it's common to get around the resorts on golf buggy.

Harbour island sits next to North Eleuthera and can be accessed via the bigger island. There are also daily high speed ferry services from Nassau to Harbor island and Spanish Wells.

The Bahamas experiences a cooler, dryer period between November to March (28C) and a hotter, wetter period between June and October with August being the wettest month with over 150mm of rain however the sunshine is never too far away even in stormy days. Each island varies slightly depending on it's location in the chain.
