Nassau is the most populated island in the Bahamas with plenty of activities to keep you entertained as well as a number of stunning beaches to relax on. From the international airport you can travel to many of the other 700 islands and cays including Exuma, Abaco and Grand Bahama.
If you're into beaches you can visit Junkanoo beach for a vibrant afternoon or the more secluded Jaws Beach.

The Bahamas experiences a cooler, dryer period between November to March (28C) and a hotter, wetter period between June and October with August being the wettest month with over 150mm of rain however the sunshine is never too far away even in stormy days. Each island varies slightly depending on it's location in the chain.
