an island holiday awaits...
Montserrat is a mountainous island which is located north of Guadeloupe and close to Antigua in the Lesser Antilles chain. Soufriere Hills, a volcano on the island, erupted in the 90s which led to an exclusion zone to the south of the island. You can visit the volcano via the Montserrat Volcano observatory. Another viewing point offering stunning views of the island is from the 'centre hills'.
Many of Montserrat's bays and beaches are situated along the North-West of the island with Rendezvous Beach, only accessible by hike or via boat, being the first choice of many. Due to it's history with the Irish the island celebrates St. Patricks Day for visitors in March.
