Great Inagua island and Little Inagua island make up, Inagua, the most southern island in the Bahamas. The national park in Great Inagua makes up almost half of the size of the island and is home to species only found of this island such as the West Indian Flamingo and the Bahama parrot.

Matthew Town Airport (IGA) is the only airport on the island to the West and has regular service from Nassau taking around 1hr 30minutes to reach your destination.

The Bahamas experiences a cooler, dryer period between November to March (28C) and a hotter, wetter period between June and October with August being the wettest month with over 150mm of rain however the sunshine is never too far away even in stormy days. Each island varies slightly depending on it's location in the chain.

Everyone loves Flamingos and there's 80,000 to enjoy here. Other than that there is a wide range of nature to experience with many species found on the island which are to be seen no where else in the Bahamas.
