Another Caribbean island which is French speaking, St Barthelemy or 'St Barts' for short is known for its glorious white sand beaches, with the most popular amongst tourists being Saint-Jean, and high end restaurants and designer shops.
Located near and often accessed via Sint Maarten on a short flight, St Barts has a number of spots for snorkeling, scuba diving and wind surfing in the Grand Cul-de-sac located in the North West of the island.

The most common way to get to St Barts is via St Maarten via a 10 minute shuttle flight to the north of the island to St Jean Gustaf III Airport (SBH). There are regular flights to St Maarten from eastern US cities as well as Paris.

The hotter months are between July and September where temperatures average around 32C during the day. St Barts has a low level of rainfall throughout the year however the high is experienced in November with 66mm of rain and a low in March of 20mm.
